City of Los Angeles Update: Capital Pass-Throughs to be Permitted…Again!

According to sources within the City of Los Angeles, the moratorium imposed on rent increases in effect until February 1, 2024, the so-called "rent increase freeze," is only applicable to the annual allowable rent increase. Any approved capital improvement pass-throughs can be noticed to renters beginning February 1, 2023 for implementation sixty (60) days later beginning on April 1, 2023.
