When local housing providers are pushed out, mega-corporations and private equity funds with deep pockets step in to buy them. Instead of eliminating landlords, extreme regulations are simply replacing your local neighbors with massive corporate conglomerates that redevelop affordable units into luxury rentals and condominiums
We must protect the small providers who keep California housed and stop corporate buyers from taking over the American dream.
