Attention Tenants, Tenants’ Organizations, and Landlords:
In April 2022, the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors passed a motion directing the Department of Public Health to develop an ordinance to implement a Rental Housing Habitability Program in unincorporated Los Angeles County that is centralized, routine, and proactive. The goal of the Program is to ensure the health and safety of all rental units thereby improving the lives of renters, helping property owners maintain property values, and preserving the housing stock in the unincorporated areas of the County.
WHAT: You are invited to join Environmental Health leadership at a virtual stakeholder meeting to learn more about the proposed components of the Rental Housing Habitability Ordinance and to provide your feedback.
WHEN: The virtual meeting will take place on Thursday, June 29th from 3:00 PM - 4:30 PM on Zoom.
No RSVP is required.
