Join Us This Year March 24-25 in Washington, D.C. for NAA’s Advocate Conference

We are just weeks away from the National Apartment Association’s (NAA) “Day on the Hill: during the annual Advocate 2026 Conference and Meeting.  We are excited to have many of our members join us in Washington, D.C. next month on March 24th and 25th. If you have not yet signed up, there is still time to do so at https://naahq.org/events/advocate. As a member of the Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles, you are automatically a member of NAA at no extra charge.


For those of our members who are planning to attend, here are some important updates:
  • The Advocate Meeting Preparation Materials Page will be live in the coming days. Further updates are forthcoming.
  • NAA members will be discussing with their Members of Congress during our visit to Capitol Hill on March 25th:
    • S. 470 / H.R. 1078, RESPECT State Housing Laws Act - sunsets the 30-day required Notice to Vacate (NTV)
    • S. 2651, Road to Housing Act, and H.R. 6644, Housing for the 21st Century Act - These two pieces of legislation are each congressional chamber's comprehensive housing packages.

Advocate Webinar

In preparation for Advocate 2026, there will be a webinar on March 3rd at 3:00 p.m. Eastern / Noon Pacific. If you plan to attend Advocate 2026, please register for this webinar. Advocate Webinar. NAA’s Government Affairs Team is hosting this webinar to better prepare you for your meetings on Capitol Hill.

You will learn about the current legislative landscape and how it might impact how you frame your discussions during your meetings, including:

  • The issues to discuss in your meetings, why, and what specifically you will need to ask your Members of Congress to do.
  • Talking points NAA has developed to help you frame your advocacy pitches.
