LA County Landlords and Rental Property Owners: Rent Registry 2026-27 Registration Period is Now Open

The 2026-27 registration period for the LA County Rent Registry is officially open. If you own rental property or a mobile home park in unincorporated LA County, you are required to register your properties annually under the County's Rent Stabilization Ordinances.
Who Needs to Register?
Annual registration is required for landlords and property owners who rent out:
- Residential units/properties
- Rooms within rental units
- Mobile home spaces
Possible Exemptions:
Some properties may be exempt, including:
- Owner-occupied properties
- Homes destroyed by the January 2025 Wildfires
- Other specific cases (visit our website)
How to Register Online:
- Existing Users: Log into the Rent Registry, update unit or space information if needed, and submit your registration for staff review.
- First-Time Users: Use the Assessor’s Parcel Number (APN) and unique PIN to add the property and unit or space information to your account, enter all required details, and submit your registration for staff review.
- After Submission: DCBA will review your registration and notify you once it is ready for payment submission.
