June 7th Primary Election Update

The June 7th primary election results are in with some candidates having been elected or re-elected while other candidates are headed for a run-off in November. Numerous Association endorsed candidates are within one of these categories. We congratulate those that have been elected or re-elected and will continue to support those moving forward to the November General Election.
The following AAGLA endorsed candidates have been elected/re-elected:
- Jeff Prang for Los Angeles County Assessor
- Sharona Nazarian for Beverly Hills City Council
- Ara Najarian for Glendale City Council
- Dan Brotman for Glendale City Council
- Roberto Uranga for Long Beach City Council- District 7
The following AAGLA endorsed candidates are in a run-off in the November General Election:
- AAGLA’s Board President, Cheryl Turner for State Senate - District 28
- Rick Caruso for Los Angeles Mayor
- Suzie Price for Long Beach Mayor
- Bob Hertzberg for Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors – Supervisorial District 3
- Sam Yebri for Los Angeles City Council - District 5
- Traci Park for Los Angeles City Council - District 11
- Tim McOsker for Los Angeles City Council - District 15
- Ian Patton for Long Beach City Council - District 5
- Joni Ricks-Oddie for Long Beach City Council - District 9
