GET YOUR FREE “VOTE NO ON PROPOSITION 21” LAWN SIGN TODAY

Industry News,

LIMITED SUPPLY REMAINING!

ATTENTION AAGLA MEMBERS AND PROPERTY OWNERS: Get YOUR “VOTE NO PROP. 21” lawn signs from AAGLA. Please help us get the word out about the badly FLAWED rent control ballot initiative, Proposition 21 – The Rental Affordability Act.

If passed, Proposition 21, the “Rental Affordability Act”, will drastically expand California’s rent control laws by repealing the protections we now have under Costa-Hawkins. This new ballot initiative is an extremely dangerous threat to all landlords! If passed:

  • Your right to increase rent to market upon a tenant’s vacancy will be severely limited – vacancy de-control will no longer exist!
  • Rent control will be expanded to single-family homes and condominiums when more than 2 are owned OR if title is held by a trust, LLC or any other entity that is not a natural person.
  • Local rent control will be expanded to all properties built within the last 15 years.
  • Will result in the loss of local revenues leaving less funding for our schools, police, and fire departments.
  • Will REDUCE the value of your rental property and your rental income.

The Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles (AAGLA) strongly OPPOSES PROP. 21, the RENT CONTROL ballot initiative, and we are launching a statewide opposition campaign to defeat this latest threat to our property rights. JOIN US IN THIS FIGHT TODAY & please help us get the word out about the badly FLAWED rent control ballot initiative!

We have created “VOTE NO PROP. 21” lawn signs for all of our AAGLA members to ensure the voice of reason and common sense is heard and that your property rights and property values are preserved. We encourage ALL AAGLA MEMBERS and property owners to display these signs on their lawns in order to spread the word as much as possible and help us defeat this ballot initiative that will create chaos in our housing marketing and reduce property values for homeowners.

Supply is limited, so please be sure to get your lawn sign TODAY before they’re gone!
