AGENDA

Tomorrow, January 24th at 7:00P.M., the Beverly Hills City Council will discuss eliminating the City’s Rent Stabilization Ordinance (RSO) provisions that allow rental housing providers to issue an eviction to recover possession of a unit in order to demolish and/or convert a unit into a condominium, Agenda Item G-3. Should the City Council decide to repeal the City’s provisions, rental housing providers would remain subject to State Law, the Ellis Act, and would continue to have the ability to issue tenancy terminations for the purpose of withdrawing their property from the rental market.
