Attn. L.A. County Owners: Registration Deadline is Tuesday, September 30, 2025.

Be sure to register your rental housing units owned within the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County by the September 30th deadline at L.A. Registration. 

Registering your property on time helps you avoid late fees and ensures compliance with County requirements. Register, renew, or file an exemption online, at the County’s Business and Consumer Affairs locations at DBCA Locations, or at the County’s branch offices located in East Los Angeles, Lancaster, or South Whittier.


Owners of rental properties or mobile home parks within the unincorporated areas of Los Angeles County may be required to register their property with the County and pay registration fees annually. To register your property, follow these steps:

•    **Create your account at rentregistry.dcba.lacounty.gov
•    Use your *Property Identification Number (PIN) to locate your property.
•    Update your contact, property, and unit information.
•    Submit your registration and annual rent registration payment by September 30, 2025 to avoid late fees.


If you cannot find your PIN, email the County at rentregistry@dcba.lacounty.gov. Use the subject line “Need My PIN” and include your name and property address in the email. The County’s team will send you your PIN so you can complete the registration process.
