Formerly Virtual Preventing Workplace Sexual Harassment Training 

WHY YOU NEED THIS TRAINING: Beginning January 1, 2019, California made substantial changes to its sexual harassment prevention training requirements. Under the 2019 changes, all employers with five or more employees must provide sexual harassment prevention training to all employees — supervisors must receive two hours of training and non-supervisory employees must receive one hour, with training taking place within six months of hire or promotion and every two years thereafter.

• • Identifying ways to stop sexual harassment behavior and issues.
  • Identifying the difference between sexual harassment and discrimination.
  • Distinguishing between the work and social environments and identifying boundaries.
  • Minimizing conflict and maximize the effectiveness of employees who handle sexual harassment complaints.
  • Recognizing correct and incorrect behavior.
  • Using interviewing techniques to draw out information from all involved parties.

Webinar Requirements

Each participant must have their own email address to be registered and receive their unique link. Participants cannot share an email address. Each participant must have access to an internet connection via their own computer, smart phone, tablet, etc. to login and attend the webinar. Participants cannot attend the webinar via a landline. Participants cannot share devices. Certificates:

To qualify for a certificate, participant must attend the webinar in its entirety and stay logged in with their unique link.  Upon joining the webinar, each participant must enter their full name and email address. This will be verified with the use of a report upon completion of the webinar, prior to distribution of certifications.

Angel Rogers has held many positions in the industry with an emphasis on education and training. Angel brings her solid reputation as a fun, motivational, and “from the heart” instructor to her training and consulting business, Specialized Training by Angel Rogers (STAR Training). She is also a featured speaker for the National Apartment Association.

Angel has been in property management for as long as she can remember. She was screening applications and cleaning her parents’ rentals for years before she thought this would be her career.  She worked her way up from “Rental Hostess” to Regional Manager in less than 6 years and has never looked back!   Angel brought her extensive experience to National CORE in 1996 as a Property Manager and then Training and Education Manager, where she developed training programs with an emphasis on fair housing, operations, customer care, and affordability compliance. In 2009 she launched her own training and consulting company, STAR(Specialized Training by Angel Rogers),  where she continued to lead the training efforts at National CORE,  as well as teaching for numerous Apartment Associations, private clients throughout the country, and classes at Chaffey College. Angel was invited to return to National CORE in 2020 as their Chief Learning Officer.
