• Handling objections and evaluating prospect readiness
• Preparing prospects for move-in steps
• Applying Fair Housing laws and defining rental criteria
• Qualifying prospective residents
• Reviewing and preparing leases
• Move-in procedures and responding to maintenance requests
• Building resident relationships and fostering community
• Incident documentation and corrective actions
• Maximizing operational efficiency and revenue
• Securing lease renewals
• Conducting market surveys and opportunity evaluations

Requirements for CALP Certification:

• Minimum of six months onsite property management experience in a leasing role (a provisional certificate may be issued while gaining experience)
• Completion of seven CALP courses
• Pass the final exam within six months of declaring candidacy
