Have you ever wanted to know what professional property managers know…that YOU DON’T? This webinar will give YOU the top “Tips and Tricks” known only by the professionals who successfully manage 1,000’s of rental units. Our property management expert, Patti Widget from Widget’s Way, will provide you with insider information on critical areas that will help keep you from getting yourself into trouble and keep you working smarter, not harder.
Managing rental property today has become far too complicated and highly regulated. From Fair Housing regulations to Section 8 requirements to a growing list of changes to lease application rules, one simple mistake can be costly. When you have a vacancy, very often, successful marketing of your property involves researching the local competition of similar rental properties in your area, and taking an inventory of amenities, features, and pricing other properties offer. With this data, you can promote your property’s unique advantages, key features, and enticing incentives.
Leading multifamily industry expert, Patti Widget, the founder of Widget’s Way again, joins us for an amazing presentation that will help YOU to succeed during today’s “new normal.”
PLEASE, join us for what will most certainly be an informative online seminar via ZOOM.
During the webinar, we will also cover the following:
- Best practices for marketing your vacancies at your property. Learn what to do and say in advertising and don’t run afoul of fair housing rules and other regulations.
- Which online platforms work best? Learn about taking pictures and staging your unit for a quicker, more profitable lease-up.
- Offering incentives and effective pricing – how to price to lease ahead of local competition.
- Dealing with inquiries in a way to avoid trouble.
- Effective tenant screening suggestions – watch out for secret shoppers trying to drive you into a costly out-of-court settlement or worse.
- And, wait…there’s so much more. YOUR questions will help lead the discussion.
This will be a live, interactive, online learning session. Live Q&A will take place throughout the online seminar. Please join us for what will surely be an extremely informative and entertaining presentation by Patti Widget. Please log in to register on our website at www.aagla.org. Bye Bye Mattress and Mattress Recycling Council
Bye Bye Mattress is a mattress recycling program operating in California, Connecticut, Oregon and Rhode Island. The program was established by law and is operated by Mattress Recycling Council, a nonprofit company that uses a recycling fee collected on each mattress and box spring sold, making recycling easier in our communities. Whether a city picks up your discarded mattress, a retailer takes it back with your new purchase or you drop it off, the Bye Bye Mattress program converts your old product from waste to recycling. As a result, our landfills and incinerators are less crowded as old mattresses are recycled into new, useful products.
Mattress Recycling Council, operating as Bye Bye Mattress, contributes to a sustainable future by developing and implementing innovative mattress recycling solutions. Bye Bye Mattress assists the mattress industry with fulfilling its legal obligations to support and administer the program. The Mattress Recycling Council educates the mattress industry about recycling laws, assists retailers and manufacturers with their registration and reporting requirements, and works closely with local governments and waste management professionals.
