Lunch & Learn: The Art of Collecting Monetary Judgements
Lunch & Learn: The Art of Collecting Monetary Judgments

You won your case and received a monetary judgment. Now, how do you actually collect the money your former tenant owes you?
A court judgment is only the beginning. Collecting can become difficult when a debtor changes jobs, moves, hides assets, or uses other tactics to avoid payment. Join AAGLA for an interactive Lunch & Learn focused on the practical realities of judgment enforcement.
Why You Should Attend
Many rental housing providers obtain monetary judgments against non-paying tenants but do not understand the steps required to pursue collection. During this in-person session, judgment enforcement specialist Grey Isidro will explain common collection challenges and introduce strategies that may help landlords recover money they are legally owed.
Key Topics
- Why winning a monetary judgment does not guarantee payment
- Essential steps in the judgment enforcement process
- Common ways debtors attempt to avoid collection
- Methods used to locate debtors, income, and assets
- Options available when landlords cannot collect on their own
- How professional judgment enforcement services operate
Bring your questions. This will be an interactive, in-person learning session, with opportunities for questions and answers throughout the presentation.
