Los Angeles BPS Apartment Association Discussion
Building Performance Standard (BPS)
You are invited to participate in a focused discussion hosted jointly by Los Angeles County and the City of Los Angeles, for apartment association members regarding a potential Building Performance Standard (BPS). A BPS is a policy framework that requires buildings above a certain size to meet energy or emissions performance targets over time. Because these standards typically apply to larger buildings, this conversation will be most relevant to members with properties of 20,000 square feet or more.
Details
This will be a 1-hour-long discussion-focused call, with a brief overview of what a BPS consists of, followed by an open conversation and Q&A from participants.
Your input will help inform policies that shape the future of buildings across Los Angeles County and the City of Los Angeles. If you have any additional questions, please reach out to Andres at angonzalez@cso.lacounty.gov.
