Join us for this important opportunity to meet with L.A. City Council candidate, L.A. City Commissioner, community activist, and attorney, Grace Yoo, who is running to unseat current L.A. City Council appointee and Democratic Socialist-supported Councilmember Heather Hutt in Council District 10.

The Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles has enthusiastically endorsed Grace Yoo's candidacy. We need AAGLA members to join us on October 23rd to support Grace Yoo. We need her balanced approach and vote on the 15-member Los Angeles City Council to bring strong ethics and reasonableness to the City of L.A.

After, join us for an important presentation on Senate Bill 721, where we will provide everything you need to know about this California state law. We will review the key aspects of SB 721 and explain what is meant by an "elevated exterior element." You'll learn why this law was enacted, what inspections are required, and how to stay in compliance before the January 1, 2025 deadline.

About Our Guests

Grace Yoo:
Grace Yoo is a community advocate, attorney, and former L.A. City Commissioner. She has spent over 30 years fighting for local communities, working families, and those whose voices have been ignored. Grace stepped up to protect our environment, fight against injustice, and stop zoning violations by suing the City of Los Angeles three times because the City refused to act responsibly.

Grace is running for City Council to bring smart, common-sense public policy to address our most pressing issues including homelessness and public safety. She will ensure fair representation, reliable city services, and a local focus for District 10. Her background includes service as Director for St. Barnabas Senior Services and Chair of the L.A. Aging Advocacy Coalition. As a former Vice-President of L.A.'s Department of Transportation, she plans to tackle traffic and transportation issues.
