Mr. Canter's current practice focuses on defending property owners and managers against claims of breach of warranty of habitability, quiet enjoyment, negligence, and nuisance.
With 35 years of experience, he has represented clients ranging from local businesses to national corporations.
He has litigated matters including habitability claims, property disputes, insurance defense, construction defects, employment disputes, fraud, ADA compliance, and more.
Mr. Canter provides candid evaluations, cost-benefit counsel, professional communication, and zealous advocacy for his clients.
He is a member of the Association of Southern California Defense Counsel and the Colorado Defense Lawyers Association.

Williams Real Estate Advisors, Inc. manages approximately $150,000,000 in multifamily assets throughout Southern California.
He began his career with Capmark Financial Group analyzing $350,000,000 in multifamily loan requests.
He later transitioned into apartment brokerage and launched his own firm, which now manages nearly 150 properties.
He joined the AAGLA Board of Directors in 2021.

2024 Board President:

Cheryl Turner, Esq.
Cheryl Turner is a trial and transactional attorney with expertise in business, insurance, real estate, and construction.
She has run her own practice, Turner Law, for over 20 years and holds a Public Works Construction Management Certificate.
She is a former real estate broker and was named one of the Outstanding Young Women of America.
She earned both her Bachelor's and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Southern California.

Daniel Yukelson is Executive Director of AAGLA and a Certified Public Accountant.
He previously held CFO roles at Premiere Radio Networks and Oasis West Realty and started his career at Ernst & Young.
He is a former Planning Commissioner for the City of Beverly Hills.

Craig Mordoh is a leading eviction attorney and expert in California landlord/tenant and rent control law.
