ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS: It's Time to VOTE! Join Us for Our Annual General Membership Meeting

This meeting is for YOU! Please join us in person on Saturday, December 3, 2022, at 9:30 A.M. for our Annual General Membership Meeting. You won’t want to miss this event as we nominate our Slate of Directors and our Board President, Ms. Cheryl Turner, Esq., who will be serving her third term next year. We’ll also have a legal and management update from attorney and property manager Chris Barker. The Board of Directors’ Installation will be conducted by Past AAGLA President, Harold Greenberg, Esq.

President, Board of Directors:

Cheryl Turner, Esq.
Cheryl Turner is a trial lawyer and transactional attorney with an extensive background in business, insurance, real estate, and construction. She has managed her own legal practice, Turner Law, for over twenty years. She is a former Real Estate Broker and holds a Public Works Construction Management Certificate. She was selected as one of the Outstanding Young Women of America and earned both her Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor degrees from the University of Southern California.

Chris Barker, Esq.
Chris Barker is an attorney and real estate investor. Before transitioning to real estate full-time, Chris was a litigator at some of the nation's top law firms. Most recently, he was Of Counsel at Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, representing investment firms and banks in complex financial disputes. He owns and operates over 40 rental units in Los Angeles and manages Yorkshire Realty, which provides legal, property management, brokerage, and investment services.

Daniel Yukelson, Executive Director, Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles
Daniel Yukelson is currently the Executive Director of AAGLA. A Certified Public Accountant, he began his career at Ernst & Young and later served as CFO for various companies including Premiere Radio Networks and Oasis West Realty, where he helped develop the Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills. He has also served as Planning and Public Works Commissioner for the City of Beverly Hills.
