Join us for an important in-person briefing and networking event focused on the proposed November 2024 ballot initiative, the “Justice for Renters Act”.

Important Discussion: Gain critical insight into the rent control ballot proposal and its devastating impact on rental housing. Learn about the opposition campaign’s polling, strategy, and how to help defeat this initiative.

Expert Perspective:
Political strategist Tony Russo, who led the successful opposition to Propositions 10 and 21, will share campaign strategy insights. State lobbyist Kate Bell will provide a briefing on California’s current legislative session and new laws impacting our industry.

Support the Opposition: A minimum suggested contribution of $100 per person to the AAGLA Issues PAC is requested. 100% of proceeds go directly to funding the opposition campaign.

  • Kate Bell – Founder of Kate Bell Strategies. A top California lobbyist with nearly 20 years of experience in tax policy, business regulation, housing, and government affairs. Former partner at Capitol Advocacy.
  • Anthony Russo – Partner, Russo McGarty & Associates. A political strategist with a 26-year career in public policy, formerly with the Irvine Company and advisor in past successful opposition campaigns to Propositions 10 and 21.
