Daniel Leathers

Daniel Leathers is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Welcome Home Property Management L.A., Inc.. This full-service property management company oversees more than 100 rental units across South Los Angeles, Inglewood, and West Los Angeles. Under his leadership, the firm has carved out a unique niche by partnering with government agencies and non-profits to help property owners maximize returns while addressing the homelessness crisis. Welcome Home Property Management L.A., Inc. holds certifications as a Minority Business Enterprise and Local Small Business Enterprise with the County of Los Angeles.

Mr. Leathers has built a strong reputation for successfully guiding clients with inherited properties with significant deferred maintenance. His team excels in revitalizing such properties, resolving compliance issues, and increasing revenue by replacing non-performing tenants with stable residents.

Before transitioning to property management, Mr. Leathers enjoyed a nearly two-decade career in banking, where he held various roles in sales, underwriting, sales management, and wealth management at leading institutions such as Wells Fargo, Comerica Bank, and U.S. Bank. His career took him to Tucson, Phoenix, and Los Angeles, providing him with a breadth of experience. Mr. Leathers earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Arizona and a Master’s in Business Administration from California State University, Long Beach. Additionally, he is a licensed salesperson with the California Department of Real Estate and a certified property manager through the California Association of Realtors.

Mr. Leathers is deeply involved in the property management community. He serves as co-chairperson of the Apartment Association of Greater Los Angeles's membership committee and is a member of its Local Government Relations Committee.
